Vodyanoy- Bullywug re-design

A personal project to re-design the Bullywug for my home Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I find some of the classical D&D art to be a tad comical for my taste (hence why I love so much Wizards of the Coasts Magic the Gathering setting books) and also find that most of my players can not help but know exactly what every monster does.

So I give you the Vodyanoy, inspired by the slavic mythical spirit. I have worked to ensure all of the bullywug game mechanics have remained intact, importantly capitalising on their bite attack more. I have also added an extra bit of body horror with the idea that they reproduce similer to the Suriname toad, thier thier egges being laid into thier backs.

Starting off with a rough body shape and creating the base body with top and bottom half that can be re positioned as needed

Croaker- Ghosts of Saltmarsh page 232. In retrospect the silhouette of this one isnt different enough when viewed at the small size of an online RPG game.

Berserker- Monster Manual page 344. I really love being able to create more monsters by editing stat blocks, makes for more varied art as well!
